We were commissioned to replicate a bronze of the 'Borghese Gladiator' to be erected at the Banqueting House of Whitby Abbey, which was built by Sir High Cholmley in the 17th century. |

We took moulds from an identical 17th century gladiator sculpture cast of the same model held in a private collection, with the kind permission of the owner, then cast the replica in bronze using the traditional lost wax casting method. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
